Job Description
The position involves managing financial reporting, analysis, and general ledger activities within a manufacturing environment, leading a finance team, and supporting strategic financial decisions for a company specializing in electric vehicle batteries and energy storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements and budgets
- Analyze variances to provide insights for management
- Maintain and analyze the financial reporting and general ledger systems
- Build and lead the financial team
- Enhance project accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Manage financing activities, M&A projects, tax planning, audits, and risk control measures
- Ensure proper accounting and business controls are in place to safeguard assets
- Analyze competitor financial reports and market trends to support strategic decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 6 years of accounting experience
- Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling
- Experience in an international working environment
- Experience in the US battery industry is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP
- Self-starter with the ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Positive attitude with adaptability to changes in workload and job requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $80,000 to $100,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
