Job Description

The Field Service Engineer at Gotion is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing battery production equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and support systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in battery production equipment and implement solutions.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Conduct calibration and performance testing to meet operational standards.
Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and safety standards for equipment.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide operational updates.
Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements for equipment reliability and process efficiency.

Requirements

An Associate's degree or certification in a technical field such as Electrical or Electronic, or equivalent work experience.
A Bachelor's of Science degree is preferred.
A valid local electrical license to carry out field electrical works, or the ability to attain one.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or field service.
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and software systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively locally and occasionally nationally.
