Job Description
Gotion Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and troubleshoot electronic systems for their advanced battery manufacturing facility, focusing on control circuits, sensors, and power management to support production and testing processes in a high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and test electronic circuits for manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators
- Develop power distribution and control systems for battery cell production and testing lines
- Troubleshoot and optimize electronic components to ensure reliability in a high-throughput environment
- Collaborate with software and robotics teams to integrate electronics into automated systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
- Support prototyping and validation of new battery cell designs with electronic testing setups
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- At least 3 years of experience in electronics design and implementation, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency with circuit design tools such as Altium, Cadence, and microcontroller programming.
- Experience with industrial control systems such as PLCs and SCADA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of power electronics and signal processing.
- Ability to design and test electronic circuits for manufacturing equipment, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
- Ability to develop power distribution and control systems for battery cell production and testing lines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize electronic components to ensure reliability in a high-throughput environment.
- Ability to collaborate with software and robotics teams to integrate electronics into automated systems.
- Ability to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Experience supporting prototyping and validation of new battery cell designs with electronic testing setups.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 with 15% bonus
Work schedule: Full-Time
