Job Description
The EHS Specialist at Gotion Inc. is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing environment, including hazard assessments, incident investigations, training, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify hazards and recommend controls
- Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, and determine root causes
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees on safety topics
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations
- Support environmental permitting, reporting, and compliance activities
- Participate in developing and implementing emergency response plans and conduct drills
- Collect, analyze, and report EHS data to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a strong safety culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, such as OSHA and EPA.
- Experience in conducting hazard assessments, risk analyses, and incident investigations.
- Strong understanding of EHS management systems, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 with 15% bonus
