Job Description
The Compensation Performance Specialist supports the design, implementation, and management of compensation and performance programs to align with business goals, ensure market competitiveness, and promote a high-performance culture within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, maintenance, and administration of salary structures, job grades, and compensation bands.
- Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure compensation competitiveness.
- Assist in annual salary review processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to design and communicate competitive offer packages.
- Monitor and analyze labor costs, salary budgets, and headcount expenses.
- Administer bonus programs, including annual and project-based incentives.
- Implement and manage performance management frameworks, including KPI and OKR cycles.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and calibration processes to ensure fairness and consistency.
- Track and analyze performance ratings and trends, linking outcomes to compensation and talent decisions.
- Prepare reports and dashboards on compensation and performance metrics, providing insights for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance of compensation practices with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate compensation and performance data within HRIS systems and support system updates.
- Provide guidance to managers on compensation and performance management decisions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay and performance policies.
- Support change management initiatives related to compensation and performance programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 3 to 6 years of experience in compensation, performance management, or HR analytics
- Experience in manufacturing or fast-growing organizations preferred
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as ADP and SAP
- Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compensation regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Benefits & Perks
Compensation salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 USD
Work environment: On-site in Manteno, IL
