Job Description
The Associate Construction Director will lead and oversee large-scale manufacturing construction projects at Gotion’s Illinois facility, ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery while coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction activities for large-scale manufacturing, utility, infrastructure, and facility projects.
- Support project execution by managing schedules, budgets, and project strategies.
- Oversee contractor performance, safety, and quality compliance.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and change orders; identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout construction activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of progressive construction leadership experience, preferably in Manufacturing Industrial facilities, Energy, EV, battery, semiconductor, or large infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-contractor construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost controls, and contract management.
- Familiarity with OSHA, building codes, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work onsite in Manteno, IL.

Compensation/salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 USD
