Job Description
The Associate Construction Director will lead and manage large-scale manufacturing construction projects at Gotion’s Illinois facility, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and compliant execution while coordinating with various stakeholders and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction activities for large-scale manufacturing, utility, infrastructure, and facility projects.
- Support project execution by managing schedules, budgets, and project strategies across multiple phases.
- Oversee contractor, subcontractor, EPC firm, and vendor performance to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and change orders; identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Ensure construction activities adhere to safety standards, OSHA regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to facilitate project progress and compliance.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of progressive construction leadership experience, preferably in Manufacturing Industrial facilities, Energy, EV, battery, semiconductor, or large infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-contractor construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, cost controls, and contract management.
- Familiarity with OSHA, building codes, and environmental compliance.
- Ability to work onsite in Manteno, IL.

Compensation/salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 USD
