Job Description
The role involves leading Gotion's North America battery aftermarket business, overseeing service operations, parts management, reverse logistics, and recycling efforts to ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and compliance within the EV battery and energy storage sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead Gotion's North America battery aftermarket business, focusing on service operations, parts, reverse logistics, and recycling.
- Establish and manage a hub-and-spoke service model with remote diagnostics, escalation procedures, and HV safety protocols.
- Develop and oversee parts planning, BOM governance, and manage 3PL performance and hazardous shipping compliance.
- Qualify recycling partners, set SLAs for turnaround and recovery yields, and implement repair, remanufacturing, and recycling processes.
- Own warranty and extended-coverage policies, translating field insights into service offerings and design improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 10 years in aftermarket after-sales service operations EV battery, automotive, or ESS.
- 5 years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of Li-ion pack architecture, diagnostics commissioning, and failure modes.
- Hands-on experience with PFEP SOP, 3PL performance, RTP programs, and hazardous materials logistics DOT IATA.
- Regulatory fluency or rapid ramp across EPA RCRA Universal Waste, DOT IATA UN3480 3481, OSHA HV safety familiarity with state EPR trends.
- Data operations capability including network design, cost modeling, KPI dashboards.
- Ability to travel 30-40%.
