Job Description
A hands-on Data Engineer responsible for developing secure and efficient data pipelines, primarily focusing on ingesting and processing energy production data, supporting enterprise data warehouse, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver aggregated metrics for various business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest production energy data and develop secure, high-performance data pipelines
- Create and support data lake development and manage data integration processes
- Support and maintain the enterprise data warehouse with a focus on data quality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers to coordinate data needs and interdependencies
Requirements
- Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in API data integrations, Spark processing, and data lake development.
- Experience in ingesting production energy data and supporting the aggregation of metrics for multiple teams.
- Ability to create secure and performant data pipelines.
- Experience supporting and maintaining a foundational enterprise data warehouse.
- Strong technical skills with a focus on data quality and modern data practices in a finance enterprise.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Analytics Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers, to coordinate complex interdependencies.
