Job Description
The Software Engineering Manager will lead the design, development, and delivery of intelligent platform features for consumer solutions in the sustainable home industry, overseeing technical direction, team management, and collaboration with product and data teams to create secure, high-performing, and data-driven experiences for homeowners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of intelligent platform capabilities for consumer experiences
- Own technical outcomes, including hiring and mentoring engineers
- Set technical direction across mobile and backend systems
- Ensure the delivery of secure, performant, and reliable features
- Partner with Product and Data teams to shape roadmaps and instrument the product
- Enable teams building agents and GenAI experiences
- Apply expertise in system architecture to support high-performing teams
Requirements
- Experience in leading the design and delivery of intelligent platform capabilities that support data-driven consumer experiences.
- Proven track record of building high-performing teams that successfully ship software products.
- Strong background in system architecture.
- Experience in setting technical direction across mobile and backend development.
- Ability to own outcomes, including hiring and mentoring engineers.
- Experience in delivering secure, performant, and reliable features.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Data teams to shape roadmaps and instrument the product.
- Experience enabling teams building agents and GenAI experiences.
