Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing solutions to manage and optimize the document lifecycle processes at GoodLeap, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency through hands-on development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for document lifecycle management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Analyze legal documents, business requirements, and loan lifecycle to translate into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable systems integrating with platforms like DocuSign, Salesforce, and eOriginal.
- Improve document automation, data consistency, and compliance through innovative development.
- Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and automation to ensure reliable document management systems.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and developing solutions for document lifecycle management, including document generation, signing, and vaulting.
- Ability to analyze legal documents, business requirements, and the lifecycle of a loan to translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Hands-on development experience with a focus on code quality, testing, and scalability.
- Proficiency in working with technologies such as React, Node.js, Typescript, Nest.js, Serverless, SST, DynamoDB, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Kafka, Event Driven Architecture, and Webhooks.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable systems that handle over 16,000 unique document variations.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to deliver high-impact features.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of document-related processes.
- Active participation as an outspoken team member, sharing ideas, providing constructive feedback, and driving team discussions.
- Willingness to contribute to a team that values curiosity, ownership, and innovation.
- Understanding of legal documents and business requirements to develop accurate, compliant, and user-friendly solutions.
- Commitment to best practices in software development, including robust testing pipelines, automation, and dashboards.
- Ability to work on both greenfield projects and system enhancements to improve document automation and data consistency.
- Experience in building integrations with platforms like DocuSign, Salesforce, and eOriginal.
- Ability to analyze complex challenges and lead by example in solving them.
