Job Description
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies for GoodLeap, involving stakeholder engagement, market analysis, partnership evaluation, and overseeing business operations across the entire lifecycle to support the company's expansion in sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to support GoodLeap's growth
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis
- Evaluate and implement build, buy, or partnership opportunities
- Set goals and guidelines for strategic initiatives
- Oversee operations from planning to execution
- Liaise with partners and stakeholders on business initiatives
- Present to executives and board members on strategic plans and progress
Requirements
- Experience in developing and executing strategies that help a company grow, with the ability to oversee operations from planning to execution.
- Liaising and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting market research and analysis relevant to the company's industry.
- Evaluating and executing build vs. buy vs. partnership arrangements.
- Setting goals and guidelines for strategic initiatives.
- Experience in the entire lifecycle of a business or project, with high visibility internally and externally.
- Experience in distributed energy, including knowledge of the industry and market dynamics.
- Experience in capital markets, including understanding of financing and investment processes.
- Experience in joint ventures (JV) or partnership relationships and agreements.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Experience in cybersecurity and technology infrastructure relevant to business operations.
- Knowledge of tax planning strategies.
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to executives and board members.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in strategic initiatives, energy, finance, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation range of $225,000 to $300,000 annually
