Job Description
The Staff Infrastructure Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, deployment systems, and infrastructure solutions to support Gatik's autonomous vehicle fleet, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines for fleet data ingestion and presentation
- Design and implement deployment solutions for onboard vehicle infrastructure and AV software with minimal downtime
- Collaborate with teams to develop scalable CI pipelines for AV software development, testing, and release
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions to manage environments supporting operations at customer sites
- Coordinate and execute deployments of infrastructure and software to new customer locations
- Develop and manage scalable simulation software deployment for AV software validation
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in a similar infrastructure engineering role
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Hands-on experience with Docker and related tools e.g., Docker Compose, Kaniko
- Experience deploying to Kubernetes and managing packages via Helm
- Knowledge of relational and time-series databases e.g., Postgres, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools e.g., Argo, Airflow
- Proven track record managing upgrades and rollbacks of customer-facing SaaS environments
- Scripting expertise in Python and Bash
- Experience with configuration management tools e.g., Ansible
Benefits & Perks
Salary Range: 180,000-260,000 USD
