Job Description
The Senior Technical Marketing Designer at Gatik is responsible for creating visually compelling technical assets, including diagrams, presentations, and animations, to effectively communicate complex autonomous vehicle technologies to various audiences, working closely with engineering and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engineering-inspired visuals, including diagrams, system flows, and data-rich illustrations to communicate technical concepts.
- Design investor and executive presentations that translate complex systems and metrics into clear narratives.
- Develop technical explainer graphics to simplify technologies, workflows, and capabilities for various audiences.
- Create animations and motion graphics for digital content such as explainer videos, social media, and web visuals.
- Illustrate custom visuals for product launches, marketing materials, and digital and print assets.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and executive teams to understand and visualize complex content.
- Maintain high design standards with consistent brand alignment and attention to detail across all deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in technical or B2B marketing design.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates technical visual storytelling, especially for engineering-heavy industries such as robotics, AI, transportation, or hardware technology.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Experience with 3D rendering or animation tools such as Blender or Adobe Animate.
- Experience converting engineering inputs like CAD drawings, specifications, and architecture diagrams into polished visual assets.
- Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics, ensuring consistency and impact in all materials.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A high level of initiative and ownership, with excellent time management and project juggling abilities.

Salary range of $110,000 to $180,000
