Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer specializing in Unity C# development to build and scale real-time 3D Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for autonomous vehicle operations, focusing on visualization, debugging, and system monitoring in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and extend a 3D Human Machine Interface (HMI) application in Unity for autonomous vehicle systems
- Build interactive user interfaces to visualize and monitor autonomous vehicle data and system health
- Design and implement scalable tools for testing, debugging, and system introspection
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Unity asset builds and content publishing
- Create Unity Editor tools and scripts for asset generation, build automation, and workflows
- Integrate content delivery systems for versioned asset management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture and feature development
- Contribute to architectural decisions related to content versioning, incremental builds, and asset loading
Requirements
- Five (5) years of professional software engineering experience.
- Four (4) years of experience with Unity and C.
- Experience with Unity Editor scripting, including custom inspectors, editor windows, and build tooling.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable systems with a focus on performance, architecture, and maintainability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally for Unity or similar environments, including automated asset builds and content publishing (e.g., Unity Cloud Build or similar).
- Ability to ramp quickly in existing codebases and operate independently.
- Experience shipping production-grade software, not just prototypes.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $170,000 to $230,000
Onsite work schedule, 5 days a week at Mountain View, CA
