Job Description
A Fullstack Software Engineer at Nuro will develop and maintain internal tools and platform systems to support autonomous vehicle fleet operations, focusing on building responsive frontends and backend services that enhance fleet monitoring, vehicle health, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web practices.
- Create backend services and APIs that interface with vehicle systems, cloud infrastructure, and partner platforms.
- Build tools for fleet monitoring, vehicle health tracking, maintenance workflows, and operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver user-facing products.
- Own the end-to-end development process including scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, and shared platform patterns.
- Enhance system reliability through testing, monitoring, alerting, and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for building production web applications.
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, browser APIs, and modern frontend tooling.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful or gRPC APIs.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and cloud infrastructure providers like GCP or AWS.
- Ability to work across the entire technology stack (full-stack development).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.

Compensation/salary range: $132,000 to $198,450 base pay, plus annual performance bonus and equity
