Job Description

The Operations Supervisor oversees the daily performance of autonomous vehicle operators and fleet management, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations of autonomous trucks while coordinating driver onboarding, route planning, maintenance, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and onboard qualified autonomous vehicle drivers ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
Conduct ride-alongs, performance evaluations, and coaching to promote safety and service quality
Enforce safety and compliance policies, maintain driver qualifications, and manage training programs
Coordinate vehicle maintenance, schedule repairs, and track vehicle readiness
Plan daily routes, manage driver schedules, and optimize operational efficiency
Maintain strong customer relationships, address service issues, and meet delivery targets
Address real-time logistical issues and provide hands-on operational support
Monitor operational performance through KPIs and data analysis to identify improvement areas

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred
3 years of experience in transportation or fleet operations with a focus on driver supervision
Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols
Experience with route planning tools and fleet management systems
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Valid U.S. CDL license with a clean driving record
Comfortable operating Class 3-6 vehicles and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational needs outside of scheduled shifts
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check
