Job Description
A driver role involving operating box trucks in manual mode while overseeing autonomous driving systems, collaborating with engineering teams to test and improve self-driving technology, and ensuring safety and system performance in a fast-growing autonomous trucking company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode while supervising autonomous driving systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test, evaluate, and improve self-driving technology
- Use onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software to monitor system performance
- Conduct test runs, document unusual behaviors, and provide feedback for system refinement
- Maintain safety and compliance by following DOT and company safety guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience driving 26-30 ft box trucks
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to operate 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode while supervising onboard autonomous driving systems
- Experience working with onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software to monitor system performance
- Willingness to perform test runs, document unusual behavior, and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Ability to stay highly alert and safety-focused, following DOT and company safety guidelines
- Flexible availability to work rotating or variable shifts
