Job Description
A Survey Project Manager responsible for leading survey operations on power and energy projects, managing teams, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with engineers and contractors to support infrastructure development in the utility sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead survey operations on power and energy projects
- Manage survey crews and office staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Oversee data collection, review, and analysis using Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and public agencies
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements
- Professional Survey License (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) strongly preferred.
- 8 years of survey or civil engineering experience with a utility power energy focus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage survey crews, office staff, teams, and budgets.
- Advanced knowledge of construction staking, GPS, traversing, and plan interpretation.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center.
- Ability to lead survey operations on power and energy projects.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, contractors, and public agencies.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
