Key Responsibilities
Operate a box truck manually and monitor autonomous driving systems
Collaborate with engineers to test and improve self-driving technology
Use computers and technology effectively during testing
Ensure safety of the vehicle, occupants, and the public during operations
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and assessments
Maintain compliance with HOS, DVIRs, and regulations related to automated truck testing
Provide detailed feedback to engineering teams based on testing observations
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving a box truck
Experience operating large box trucks 26 - 30 ft or tractor trailers
Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License CDL with no major infractions
Clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective reporting
Critical thinking and decision-making abilities to handle high-pressure situations with composure
Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including rotating shifts as needed
