Job Description
The Solar Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing residential and commercial solar systems onsite, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial photovoltaic, storage, and off-grid solar systems
- Resolve onsite concerns related to solar installations
- Operate tools and equipment necessary for system repairs and maintenance
- Travel to job sites as needed to perform technical services
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Residential and Commercial Photovoltaic, Storage, and Off-Grid solar systems onsite.
- Experience in resolving concerns related to solar installations.
- Ability to perform light lifting under 15 lbs and light carrying under 15 lbs.
- Ability to perform straight pulling and simple grasping tasks.
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to operate office equipment and a motor vehicle.
- Ability to see and identify colors accurately.
- Hearing ability with aid.
- Ability to write, read, count, and tell time.
- Must be able to travel by car approximately 10% of the time.
- Physical and environmental requirements include working closely with others and working alone.
