Job Description
A Commercial Solar Installer at Freedom Solar is responsible for installing solar systems ranging from 10kW to 1MW on commercial projects, primarily involving travel and teamwork, to help deliver clean, affordable energy solutions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial solar systems ranging from 10kW to 1MW.
- Collaborate with a crew of solar installers to complete installations.
- Travel extensively (mostly 4 weeks out) to project sites.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during installation.
- Assist with electrical and construction tasks related to solar system installation.
Requirements
- Experience in construction, electrical, or solar installation with the ability to join a crew of solar installers to install solar systems ranging from 10kW to 1MW.
- Ability to travel 90% of the time, mostly 4 weeks out at a time, with occasional weekend travel work required.
- Based out of Austin, TX, and willing to travel as required for the position.
