The Vice President of Underwriting in Healthcare Finance is responsible for analyzing, structuring, and closing loan opportunities, as well as developing and managing relationships with borrowers and business partners to support the growth of healthcare-related lending activities.

Requirements
The candidate must have experience analyzing, structuring, and closing loan opportunities within the healthcare finance sector, including asset-based, real estate, solar, HUD, and construction lending to healthcare providers throughout the United States.
The candidate must have the ability to develop and manage borrower and business partner relationships effectively.
The candidate must be able to work primarily in an office setting, with the flexibility for remote work at management discretion, and be capable of performing duties that require remaining in a stationary position for extended periods.
The candidate must have the ability to use hands and fingers to operate office machinery such as printers and scanners, and operate technology including computers and monitors with visual acuity.
The candidate must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with others.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial banking, lending, or a related field, with specific experience in healthcare finance preferred.
The candidate must demonstrate a high level of flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the primary job description to support organizational efficiency.
The candidate must possess a comprehensive understanding of credit and business risk management, and adhere to sound practices including prudence, care, integrity, and discipline.
The candidate must have the ability to think creatively and deliver solutions that solve problems, drive impact, and add value in a client-focused environment.
The candidate must demonstrate a results-oriented approach, with the ability to develop and grow the Healthcare Finance business in collaboration with the Director of Healthcare Finance.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment related to healthcare and commercial lending, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
