Job Description
The Senior Counsel Associate General Counsel provides legal analysis and advice on a wide range of matters including disputes, litigation, and consumer regulatory issues, while proactively managing legal risks for the bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal analysis and counsel on a wide range of legal matters including pre-litigation disputes, litigation, and consumer regulatory issues.
- Advise the bank on legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential legal issues.
- Anticipate legal challenges and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Provide analysis and counsel for a wide range of legal matters, including advising on pre-litigation disputes, litigation, and consumer regulatory matters.
- Anticipate and guard against legal risks facing the Bank.
- Work primarily conducted in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work through technology at management discretion.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time while performing duties.
- Use hands and fingers to operate technology or office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding duties that may be situationally assigned outside of this job description.
