Job Description
The Intern, Community Impact supports the bank's community engagement and philanthropic initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and event planning while contributing to positive community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the bank's community engagement and philanthropic initiatives
- Assist in planning and organizing community impact events
- Conduct research related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community programs
- Contribute to writing and communication efforts for community initiatives
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth execution of community projects
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills, excellent research and writing abilities, and a passion for making a positive impact.
- Ability to work on-site at the headquarters in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
- Availability to work 20 to 23 hours per week, depending on the candidate's year in school and qualifications.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Use of hands and fingers to operate office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Ability to utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Ability to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- Ability to perform duties in an office setting, with some positions potentially allowing remote work at management discretion.
