Job Description
The Staff Accountant at Factorial Energy is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, and assisting with financial reporting and audits within a fast-paced, innovative energy storage company.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
- Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and explanations
- Help maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)
