Job Description

The Sales Development Representative, Associate Account Executive, or Account Executive at Factorial Energy is responsible for building and managing customer accounts in the EV and UAV battery markets, translating technical needs into commercial solutions, and driving sales opportunities through qualification, sampling, and negotiations to support the company's innovative solid-state battery technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and grow accounts across EV and UAV programs
  • Translate technical needs into commercial outcomes
  • Manage pipeline development and forecasting for target programs
  • Build and maintain relationships through communication and meetings
  • Lead RFI and RFQ responses, including pricing and deal structuring
  • Manage sample and demo allocations from eligibility to conversion
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Maintain account plans, stakeholder lists, risks, and timelines
  • Report progress through regular business reviews
  • Provide customer feedback to inform product development

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience.
  • Bring 1 to 4 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in high spec batteries, EV, aerospace, industrial hardware, or adjacent deep tech.
  • Have strong communication skills and experience leading customer presentations, RFI RFQ responses, and account planning.
  • Understand, or can rapidly learn, EV and UAV battery requirements.
  • Can build simple price and margin models, multi-year volume tiers, and NRE amortization scenarios.
  • Are fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Are willing to travel and occasionally host customers at company sites.
