The Battery Material Engineer will lead the development and optimization of advanced materials for next-generation lithium-ion and solid-state batteries, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve battery performance, stability, and longevity.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the formulation, development, and implementation of advanced battery materials and processes.
Collaborate with global material suppliers to evaluate and integrate new innovations into production.
Design and execute experiments to optimize performance and validate new material formulations.
Incorporate new materials into existing systems to enhance cell performance, stability, and longevity.
Drive development of new materials and process platforms aligned with the company's technical roadmap.
Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot issues related to materials and manufacturing processes.
Provide technical documentation and support to R&D and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years in material or product development, with solid experience in lithium-ion battery materials.
Proven ability to independently lead material or product development projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis and failure analysis experience.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
