Job Description
The Lead Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing renewable energy solutions, focusing on modular systems that provide dispatchable power and heat, supporting energy-intensive applications such as data centers. The role involves leading mechanical engineering efforts in a fast-growing, innovative company dedicated to sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for renewable energy solutions
- Oversee the integration of mechanical components within modular energy systems
- Ensure mechanical system performance, safety, and reliability standards are met
Requirements
- Relocation to Miami, FL is required for this position, and the candidate will receive relocation assistance.
- The candidate must have experience leading mechanical engineering projects or teams, demonstrating the ability to oversee complex engineering tasks.
- The candidate must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of working in the renewable energy industry or a similar field involving energy systems.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of full-stack energy solutions, including dispatchable power and heat generation systems.
- The candidate must have experience designing or managing systems capable of providing energy for up to 24 hours per day.
- The candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate within a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
