Job Description
This role involves deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced ArcGIS enterprise systems, consulting with clients on GIS workflows and architecture, and supporting mission-critical geospatial solutions primarily for defense and intelligence clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure ArcGIS deployments across various environments to meet customer requirements
- Plan and execute content migration between different ArcGIS architectures and deployment strategies
- Design and deliver GIS workflows, applications, and use cases aligned with operational needs
- Provide guidance on ArcGIS Enterprise best practices, including portal administration and platform optimization
- Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments related to storage, networking, and security
- Collaborate with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align technical objectives with business goals
- Support demonstrations, planning, and technical exchanges at customer sites, including travel as needed
Requirements
- Eagerness to work closely with customers to solve interesting problems
- 8 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilities
- Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems including desktop, server, and online environments
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C
- Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load-balancing
- Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
- Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
