Job Description

A product marketing manager at Esri is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Esri's mapping technology products, driving awareness, demand, and adoption through cross-functional collaboration, content creation, and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for Esri products
  • Lead communication strategies for product changes, including at events and tradeshows
  • Understand user and buyer needs to create personas, positioning, and messaging
  • Coordinate and execute product launches, releases, and internal communications
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate product information and drive awareness and adoption
  • Create engaging content such as web pages, videos, case studies, press releases, and product resources
  • Provide insights into competitive capabilities
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure product performance in the market

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product, industry, or corporate marketing communications, business development, consulting, or a similar field
  • Proven verbal and written communications skills with the ability to understand and effectively convey technical information in a non-technical manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with current marketing software, systems, and tools
  • Understanding of common marketing concepts and best practices with experience in applying that knowledge strategically and tactically
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with experience in successfully leading programs or highly visible projects
  • Self-starter, detail- and task-oriented, able to successfully manage multiple priorities with guidance from leadership
  • Ability to travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
