An Esri Instructor responsible for delivering hands-on GIS training, promoting the use of ArcGIS software, and supporting customers in developing sustainable GIS workflows across various industries through in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user proficiency in ArcGIS software through various formats including in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions.
Identify skill gaps and provide targeted training and ongoing support to users.
Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and provide guidance on designing and implementing sustainable GIS workflows.
Promote the adoption of ArcGIS across customer organizations and demonstrate its value through tailored workshops and solutions.
Create visualizations and narratives to communicate the impact of GIS and develop engaging content such as case studies and success stories.
Requirements
Five years of professional experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities with an emphasis on ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro.
At least two years of professional experience in classroom facilitation and instructional delivery.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while prioritizing student needs.
Strong listening skills and the ability to incorporate feedback to continuously improve instructional delivery and course materials.
Proven ability to collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Twenty (20) days of travel time within the year to support an average of 10-15 onsite customer training sessions per year.

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
