Job Description
A senior business development manager at Esri collaborates with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of GIS technology within the European defense, intelligence, and security sectors, driving strategic growth, building partnerships, and providing expert solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology in Europe.
- Identify new growth opportunities and expand adoption of Esri solutions.
- Articulate business value and negotiate with customers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.
- Lead executive reviews to finalize enterprise agreements.
- Demonstrate expertise in GIS, Esri products, and national security applications.
- Support and mentor team members through knowledge sharing.
- Develop and deliver strategic presentations to executives and at conferences.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer’s needs.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel.
- Expertise in negotiation and strategic engagements.
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and national security as they relate to one another.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- Job based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%.
