Job Description
A senior business development manager at Esri collaborates with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geographic information system technology, driving growth, building partnerships, and engaging with stakeholders at various levels to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology adoption
- Identify new growth opportunities within the region and market segments
- Articulate business value and negotiate with customers and stakeholders
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with customers and distributors
- Lead executive review meetings to finalize enterprise agreements
- Research and leverage industry knowledge to displace competitors
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer’s needs.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel.
- Expertise in negotiation and strategic engagements.
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
- Mastery of English verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the Energy Industry as they relate to one another.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
