Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry expertise to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for pipeline organizations, focusing on expanding the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions and driving growth within the pipeline industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for large organizations
- Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships
- Present at trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri technology
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Articulate the value of Esri technology related to pipeline industry solutions
- Manage account strategies and execute sales processes to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support account growth
- Research industry trends and pursue professional development to maintain competitive knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
- Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of the Pipeline industry and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the pipeline industry, as they relate to one another.
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
- Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
