Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry expertise to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for pipeline organizations, focusing on sales, account management, and industry knowledge to drive growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with large, complex organizations and develop location strategies.
  • Identify new opportunities and deepen existing customer relationships within high-level accounts.
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and GIS technology relevance to the pipeline industry.
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology through visual storytelling and presentations.
  • Manage account strategies and sales processes to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support account growth and share knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience managing the sales cycle, creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with large customers.
  • Possess financial and business acumen to build compelling account growth strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Pipeline industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers.
  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and the pipeline industry, as they relate to one another.
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
