Job Description
This role involves designing and building modern web geospatial tools and services using technologies like Rust, AWS, and Docker, with a focus on creating easy-to-use APIs and collaborating across engineering teams to develop high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build modern web services with Rust
- Collaborate with other engineers throughout the development process
- Design, develop, and test code
- Communicate design and implementation decisions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven team-based software development experience including commercial or educational projects.
- Fluent in and passionate about Rust programming language.
- Interest in designing easy to use APIs.
- Enthusiasm for quality software engineering.
- Smart, adaptable, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field.
- Existing work authorization for the United Kingdom.
