Job Description
This role involves providing desktop support and customer service in a dynamic environment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with IT equipment setup and maintenance. It requires technical support skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve request issues in person and remotely via phone support, IM, or email
- Monitor and maintain service queue based on established service level agreements
- Troubleshoot and repair desktop technologies, printers, and handheld devices
- Assist with testing and evaluating software applications for future deployment
- Assist with departmental moves, adds, and changes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation within the service desk knowledge base
- Coordinate configuration, setup, and delivery of computer-related equipment and software
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in service delivery operations or end user support.
- Experience with helpdesk and/or end user support.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and recommend solutions for desktop technologies, printers, and handheld devices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment as well as independently.
- Desktop and laptop hardware and software support skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
