The role involves leading the development and strategy of 3D city data models and digital twin solutions for local government, focusing on urban analysis, visualization, and collaboration, while working closely with cross-functional teams to create impactful GIS-based products.
Key Responsibilities
Advance research and development of the 3D city data model and its tools
Define and evolve the data model, schema, and standardization processes
Shape applications and solutions for Digital Twins in local government
Lead requirements engineering for domain-specific applications such as 3D cadastre, emergency response, and AR use cases
Contribute to urban analysis and simulation solution design based on the 3D city data model
Collaborate with development teams to translate concepts into impactful products
Articulate vision and strategy for Digital Twin offerings, including technical storytelling
Establish sustainable team structures to enable delivery aligned with platform architecture
Engage with the community through outreach, messaging, and marketing activities
Requirements
8 years of commercial and or government experience in the shaping, articulation, definition, and design of software products
Deep passion to make the world's cities a better place
Long-term willingness to execute the corresponding visionary plan
Outstanding domain expertise and technology understanding
Excellent skills in strategic discussions, collaboration, writing, and presentations
Experience in hiring and leading engineers, and executing long-term strategies
Willingness to travel and do outreach work
Strong professional network in related fields
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Architecture, GIS, Urban Planning or a related field
Existing work authorization for Singapore
