Job Description

A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology within infrastructure industries, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving sales growth through industry expertise and solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales activities of the team through all stages of the account management process.
  • Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations to expand customer adoption of Esri technology.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value within the infrastructure industry.
  • Research industry trends and continuously update knowledge of GIS and Esri technology.
  • Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
  • Develop solutions and strategies to help customers meet their goals using GIS technology.

Requirements

  • 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
  • 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
  • Able to build compelling account growth strategies
  • Advanced knowledge of various industries and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
  • Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
  • Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
