Job Description
This role involves providing thought leadership and strategic expertise in geospatial technology and GIS within the telecommunications industry, developing industry messaging, creating content, and supporting market growth through collaboration with internal teams and external organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, collateral, social media programs, videos, and event plans demonstrating the value of ArcGIS in telecommunications.
- Research, analyze, and monitor industry and technological trends to identify market opportunities.
- Support strategic opportunities as a subject matter expert and collaborate with account managers to increase penetration in key accounts.
- Work with industry and marketing teams to develop and support global tactical and strategic messaging.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and participate in joint value messaging with industry executives.
Requirements
- 8 years of demonstrated leadership and practical experience working in telecommunications or closely related organizations
- Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology
- Proven executive leadership experience with the ability to strategize, inspire, and achieve goals
- Strong experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
- Widely known, respected, and influential in your industry
- Demonstrated excellence in written communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, business administration or related field
