A role within Esri's Global Business Development team focused on building customer relationships, developing location strategies, and promoting GIS technology solutions across various industries to drive business growth and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional development activities
Requirements
At least 1 year of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another.
Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
