Job Description
This role involves providing on-site technical support to staff at the San Antonio Regional Office, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with equipment deployment and moves, and supporting Service Desk operations to deliver high-quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to local staff at the San Antonio Regional Office
- Coordinate the configuration, setup, deployment, and delivery of computer hardware, peripherals, and software
- Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents and service requests through the Service Desk
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, printers, and related peripherals
- Assist with departmental moves, equipment setup, and workstation relocations
- Test and evaluate new hardware and software for future deployment
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures to support knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience providing desktop and end-user hardware and software support.
- Demonstrated experience providing desktop and end-user hardware and software support.
- Experience working in or alongside a Service Desk Help Desk environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
