Job Description
A DevOps Engineer responsible for developing automation tools, infrastructure as code, and cross-platform build and test workflows to support the development of Esri's ArcGIS Native Maps and Game Engine SDKs across multiple operating systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools and scripts for cross-platform build and test workflows
- Create infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code (CaC) solutions for build and test environments
- Design innovative solutions for data capture, visualization, monitoring, and alerting
- Collaborate with IT to resolve infrastructure issues and adapt to new platform requirements
- Participate in team activities to improve processes and workflows
Requirements
- At least 2 years of scripting cross-platform workflows with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy.
- Curiosity for exploring a wide assortment of languages, technologies, and frameworks, including C++, .Net, Qt, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, Unity, Unreal Engine, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Ansible, JFrog Artifactory.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to clearly document work for others.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
