Job Description
This role involves working closely with clients to develop and implement GIS solutions using Esri technology, primarily in the utilities sector, by analyzing business needs, managing projects, and providing strategic guidance to enhance geospatial capabilities and drive customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with clients to develop GIS solutions that address real-world needs using Esri enterprise GIS technology.
- Prepare multi-year GIS implementation and migration strategies for clients.
- Analyze client requirements, objectives, and workflows to create actionable plans.
- Advise clients on GIS strategies, architectures, product selection, and release planning.
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through planning and quality assurance.
- Lead and coordinate small to large-scale GIS projects from requirements gathering to rollout.
- Track project performance and report on progress to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to expand GIS services and support business growth.
- Manage client relationships and set expectations throughout project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US; visa sponsorship is not available for this posting.
- Minimum of 5 years of significant, proven experience applying Esri’s ArcGIS technology within the water utilities industry, including water, wastewater, and stormwater.
- Experience with Esri products to solve complex business problems, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and web applications.
- Proven experience with proposal writing, including preparing executive summaries, solution definition, scope of work, staffing, and pricing.
- Ability to develop enterprise-level project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on multiple activities or projects in parallel.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, GIS, geography, or a relevant field.
