Job Description

This role involves building relationships with local government clients to promote and implement Esri's geospatial technology solutions, identifying growth opportunities, and providing expertise to help organizations optimize their use of GIS for community service and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate value of Esri technology
  • Execute account management and sales processes to achieve results
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various industries and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $93,600 - $176,800 USD
Work schedule: 25-50% travel domestically or internationally
