Job Description
This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and provide solutions for local government clients, with a focus on expanding the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions through sales, consulting, and account management activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
- Use solution selling to address customer challenges and articulate the value of Esri technology
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the state and local government industry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
