Job Description
A role focused on building relationships and providing GIS solutions to state and local government clients, leveraging geospatial technology to address organizational challenges, drive growth, and support customer success through sales, consulting, and strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, stakeholders, and business drivers to tailor GIS solutions
- Demonstrate the value of Esri technology through solution selling and visual storytelling
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
- Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
