Job Description

This role involves building relationships with local government clients to promote and implement Esri's geospatial technology solutions, managing sales opportunities, and providing industry expertise to help organizations optimize their use of GIS for their missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate the value of Esri technology and solutions to local government clients
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the local government industry and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Base salary range of $72,800 to $131,040 USD
