Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and manage accounts within state and local government sectors, aiming to expand the adoption of Esri's GIS solutions through sales, consulting, and professional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders
  • Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri technology
  • Execute account management and sales processes to achieve results
  • Collaborate with team members to define and implement account strategies
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of state and local government and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available).
